Good Morning, French Press Anyone?

After setting the burr grinder to French, Place grounds into decanter and fill with boiling water..
See the froth begin to steam up can you smell the aroma? we used a Chiapas from Mexico for this pot. Absolutely clean and delicious flavor very palatable.
Pour over the spoon for a good head of froth.

Be careful not to over fill your decanter or you will get coffee grounds in your cup...a little too full and the froth flows over the top and the grounds get into the filter. Still a great cup of coffee mmmm.... Do you take cream or sugar? I am ready for another cup to start my day, hope you all enjoyed this lesson in French press. I did show you how to roast and brew the perfect cup i need to show you my grinder and now that it is back from the shop the wonderful ways it grinds to get the perfect pot. Oh and i have to get Wes to pull out the new hand held espresso maker he got for Christmas. It has a 20 second pull!! amazing. and it takes fresh coffee not those yucky pods!! ok gotta go my coffee is getting cold!! thanks for joining me for a fresh cup!! todays thought; "In the sweetness of Friendship let there be Laughter, and Sharing of Pleasures."- Kahlil Gilbran

I want you to adopt me.

I love coffee.. but not ambitious to do all the work.

I do keep my organic beans in the freezer; grind fresh each morning and make.. but not the same as the way your coffee is made..

you and my father wouldn't spent hours and hours discussing coffee... it was his absolute favourite. talking about ways to prepare it, the beans, roasting, different mixtures, and of course, drinking it...

ooh, never ever freeze your coffee beans. it dries them out and takes all the oils out of them. keep them in a vacuum sealed bag that keeps them as fresh as they need to be.

Wow, the lengths you will go to for your coffee. Haha. ;0)
I hope you are okay....I'm sorry I've not been very good at keeping up with my reading lately. I just wanted to let you know I think of you and your family. xx

Thanks for telling me to NOT freeze the beans. I thought it would keep them fresher longer.

I'm going to take them out of the freezer now. (hugs)

I was freezing also. I fresh grind Starbuck's breakfast blend, and you said in another post you have to use more of it than the other coffee you roast.

I would love to hear your tips on grinding and what brand grinder you use.

That would be good if someone always made it for me.

PS
If you enjoy comments as much as I do maybe you should think of switching off your word verification requirement, its a pain in the butt to busy bloggers
